FAQ
Are Bio Poly Mailers fully waterproof?
Yes.
Bio Poly Mailers are waterproof, and great as an additional layer of protection to prevent your box from harsh weather conditions.
What are some common uses of Bio Poly Mailers?
Bio Poly Mailers are a sustainable packaging alternative for traditional mailing bags. These bio poly bags can be used as an additional packing solution, as well as a shipping solution on their own.
Textiles such as clothes, backpacks, or books can be shipped in Bio Poly Mailers. However, they’re best used to protect your mailer boxes that are used to ship your products.
Do Bio Poly Mailers match particular sizes of Mailer Boxes?
Yes, Bio Poly Mailers are designed to fit our range of Mailer Boxes. Take a look below for exact pairings.
Y60 250 x 350 mm – F23, F33, F45
Y80 350 x 450 mm – F23, F33, F44, F45, F52, F56, F59, F62

Can you print on the entire space of a Bio Poly Mailer?
Each Bio Poly Mailer has a special space for your graphic design. This space depends on the size of the mailing bag you choose and it is located in the centre of each side.
Each diecut template shows the available print space. Remember that your graphic design should never cross the lines of the print space in the diecut template.
What kind of graphic designs can’t be printed on Bio Poly Mailers?
Due to the printing technique and the material used to produce Bio Poly Mailers, we can only print single-colour graphics on them. Images or gradient graphics and neon colours cannot be printed due to the foil material and its paint absorption.
Why are my bio polymailers a different colour to the ones that are on your website?
Please note that these mailing bags are not absolute white in colour. As the mailers are made from vegetable material, there is often a slight variation in the whiteness of the material. When corn waste is used, the ‘white’ is more of an ivory colour, whereas beetroot waste will create an ever so slight coral shade to the material. If it is absolutely essential that your bag is perfectly stark white, bio polymailers are not a suitable option for you.
Why do my bio polymailers smell?
The natural materials that are used in our bio polymailers require a special adhesive to that they remain waterproof, but so they stay durable and can actually break down into compost. As a result, they have a slight scent. Some customers report that this smell is like curry powder, some customers say that it smells like baby powder. It is not an unpleasant smell, nor is it an artificial smell, but it’s important that you are aware of this, especially if you sell clothing or other materials that can absorb a smell.
